Inconsistency with ammo boxes giving 1 stack of ammo when it should be 2+ #490

Will need to confirm what is the source of broken ammo stacks.

I haven't seen a 120-round 5.45x39 pack give a single stack of 120 rounds on 3.8 yet, but the only time I remember seeing it in 3.7.x was a 120 pack of BT (or maybe BS?) that I got as a quest reward.

The only place I see the item ID for the 120 round pack of BT as a quest reward is for Survivalist Path Junkie. Quest ID "5eaaaa7c93afa0558f3b5a1c".

I can confirm it still happening in 3.8.0. I just openned a box of 120 5.45x39 ps ammo and it gave a single stack of 120 rounds. I looted it on a PMC and openned it in my stash if it matter.

Can also confirm. No SS avail. Box of 120 generates a stack of 120, instead of 2 stacks of 60.

Applies to Loose Loot and Map Container (In my testing)

Found two boxes of 120 T ammo FIR on a PMC

Opened one in raid: Stack of 120 Opened one in stash: Stack of 120

Yup, its fixed. Just tried now. Opened 120 T and PS rounds ammo box and got two 60 round stacks.

While in raid, I opened a FIR 120 pcs PRS ammo box and it put them in 2x60 rnd stacks. Was loose loot spawn.

FIR 100 pcs M855A1 found on PMC backpack loot was open in raid and split to a x60 stack and x40 stack. Haven't been able to reproduce this since fix yet.
