Immersive Engineering #2465

OptiFine has always bugged with Immersive Engineering multiblocks. It usually renders them duplicated or does some very funky stuff to the models so you can't even recognize the devices anymore. It also crashes a lot, especially when walking towards a chunk which contains those devices.

My question is, that are those bugs and compatibility issues never gonna be fixed? Or is it just impossible to use Immersive Engineering and shaders at the same time?

I managed to get some screenshots from the bugs affecting Immersive mods:

Immersive Engineering: Glitching (Crusher): 2019-06-19_08 19 13 2019-06-19_08 18 35 Normal (Crusher): 2019-06-19_08 20 06 2019-06-19_08 19 55

Immersive Tech: Glitching (Steam Turbine & Alternator): 2019-06-19_08 11 08 Normal (Steam Turbine & Alternator): 2019-06-19_08 12 00

I'll also tag @FerroO2000 and @BluSunrize if they can help

From my end, I've got zero insight into what causes it. But I've been running with the policy of optifine not being supported, so I stick with that.

All screenshot are with shaders. Shaders need a specific extended vertex format and they won't work with mods which use non-standard vertex formats for the rendering. Standard are BLOCK and ITEM vertex formats.

It also happened without shaders in the past, it always looked like the machines got rendered multiple times displaced by one block
