[Bug] Block breaking effect floating next to where it should be when chunk borders are shown. #4569

Description of Issue

Block breaking effect floating somewhere to the north of the player when chunk borders are shown.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Hit F3 G it turn on chunk borders
  2. Break a block

OptiFine Version

OptiFine 1.16.1 HD U G2

Installation Method

Running via Forge

Fabric/Forge Version

Forge: 32.0.99 & 32.0.106

I think you should mention the north part higher up as well, either in the steps to reproduce, or in the description. Maybe suggest digging any direction other than south?

I moved it to the description, because I didn't really see how it would fit in steps to reproduce. And digging east west or north, still makes the effect appier to the north of the player.

Still present in 1.16.3-OptiFine_HD_U_G3. The cracked texture looks like a floating block. I notice that the effect only happens when sufficiently deep underground. When partially underground, a different issue occurs - the block breaking texture disappears when looking down at a steep angle. I'm using BSL_v7.2, but this is reproducible for me with the internal optifine shader too. Here's some video demos, it's hard to explain.
