3 years ago Hey, I think you got me wrong (judging by the labels added). This wasn't about the forge optifine, it was about the Vanilla Optifine. NoteBlockAPI is a Spigot Plugin that runs on the server. The issue is that the some sounds are missing or misinterpreted by the Normal Optifine client. Previous versions (including 1.16.3) didn't have this issue.
The issue is not present in pure vanilla 1.16.4 or 1.16.5 client.
Description of Issue
It seems that Optifine 1.16.4 and 1.16.5 have missing sounds (instruments, might use different ones) or misinterpret NBS songs (while connecting to a Spigot/Paper server that has NoteBlockAPI). On optifine 1.16.3 it is working great.
Steps to Reproduce
Just connect with Optifine 1.16.4 or 1.16.5 to any server that has NBS songs.
