[Shaders] Enchantments too bright, end too dark, night vision potions/brightness slider not working #5620

Description of Issue

Enchantment animation not playing on enchanted items.

Steps to Reproduce

Hold the enchanted item in hand. Enchantment animation plays in inventory, but not in hand.

OptiFine Version

1.16.5_HD_U_G7

Installation Method

Built-in installer.

Fabric/Forge Version

36.1.13

Prior Testing

If you've installed using Forge/Fabric: The issue is resolved as soon as shaders are turned off, as the following screenshots will show.

Additional Information

With shaders: 2021-05-05_21 52 44

This is probably an issue with the shader you are using. Also, the in-game brightness is overridden by most shaders. You may want to try checking your shader's settings to see if there is a fix for the enchantment glint built in.
