[Bug/Missing Feature] Chest Rendering is Much Worse on 1.17 #5904

Ever Since 1.17 came out, Chest rendering has seemed much worse than before, could be due to the new rendering engine Mojang started using. In a copy of my world, (When using Sildurs Ultra Shaders v1.29) my storage room in 1.16.5 Optifine gets around 30-40 Fps, now with 1.17 Optifine, it only gets around 10-20. There are around 800 chests in the storage room. I also noticed that chests in 1.16.5 Optifine weren't considered entities, considering when I looked at them vs when I didn't the number of entities stayed the same on my F3 screen, where as when I looked at my storage room in 1.17 Optifine, there are around 1600 entities rendered, which makes sense considering my storage room has 800 large chests and 800 x 2 is 1600. My screenshots attached to this post will show a lot of additional information

Steps to Reproduce

  1. What do you do... Easiest way to reproduce this bug is to make a world and load it in 1.16.5 with sildurs shaders in use, then use the /fill command to fill an area with around 800 chests, then check your fps, then do the same things with the same shaders on 1.17 Optifine, you'll notice your FPS is much lower in the 1.17 version.
