1.16.5+ Player hand does not appear when spectating an entity in the Replay mod #6139

Since 1.16.5, when using Optifine and the Replay mod together, the player hand is not visible when spectating an entity in a Replay mod recording. This is definitely an issue with Optifine as I am able to see the player hand when Optifine is removed and is a known issue within the community.

To recreate this issue, record something using the Replay Mod with Optifine active. Go into the Replay Mod recordings and start creating a camera path. To spectate an entity fly up to it and right click when the crosshair appears. You will now be spectating it and the player hand that should be on the right, like when playing Minecraft normally, is not there.

First appeared in Optifine HD U G7 (1.16.5) and is still a problem in OptiFine HD U G9 pre32 (1.17.1).

To install Optifine I double clicked the .jar file and pressed install then put the .jar file into the mods folder.

Fabric versions 1.16.5 and 1.17.1 (0.7.4).

For 1.16.5 I am using OptiFabric 1.9.6 and for 1.17.1 I am using Optifabric 1.11.8.

Other installed mods are: 1.16.5 - Fabric 0.7.3, Fabric API 0.32.5, Optifabric 1.9.6, Replay Mod 2.5.2, World edit 7.2.4. Also using BSL Shaders v8. 1.17.1 - Fabric 0.7.4, Fabric API 0.37.1, Optifabric 1.11.8, Replay Mod 2.6.0, World edit 7.2.6. Also using BSL Shaders v8.

No crash logs, it is purely a visual error when in the replay mod.

Here is the screenshot of the F3 screen while in the Replay mod (I've hidden the bars at the top of the replay mod as they made it hard to read).

F3_Debug_Screen_ReplayMod

This does not happen when in Vanilla/when Optifine is not being used.

If you've installed using Forge/Fabric:

Additional Information

This only happens when spectating an entity in the Replay Mod. In normal Minecraft there is no issue. The player also is visible in 3rd person when in the Replay Mod, it is just 1st person where the issue arises. This was not an issue in 1.16.4, it appeared in 1.16.5 and is still present in 1.17.1.

Can confirm that this bug is still present in OptiFine HD U G9 pre34.

Try disabling shaders and anti-aliasing to see if that helps

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, disabling shaders and anti-aliasing doesn't fix the issue.

Alright

This issue is still present... Why isn't a bug of this size a priority?
