[Glitch] Deepslate shows zombie texture when mining #6611

Description of Issue

When mining deepslate, a glowing image of a zombie texture flashes, depending on the perspective I am mining from

Steps to Reproduce

I am not sure how this is possible to recreate, but I was in a lush cave, mining a piece of deepslate with a stone pickaxe. You can see from the screenshot from what perspective I did it.

OptiFine Version

1.18.1-OptiFine_HD_U_H4

Installation Method

I dropped the JAR file into my "mods" folder.

Other Installed Mods

Does this include shaders? I have complimentary installed, but they pointed out that it's likely because of OptiFine

Aditional info

I was not able to reproduce this bug well, but I managed to get 1 screenshot, unfortunalely without F3

The F3 screen doesn't have to be open in the screenshot of the issue. Can you add an F3 screenshot to your report?

Went back and tried to find the exact block. I am not sure if it's the right one, and I wasn't able to reenact the glitch. But during my stay in the lush cave, I did find the glitch twice, so it wasn't a coincidence.

I wasn't able to reenact it, with or without shaders and stuff

Can we get a list of mods you have installed as well, along with forge/fabric version?

I meant you should play for a little while without shaders or FXAA and see if it happens. You said it happened again when you were in the lush caves so it'll probably happen again if shaders aren't the issue.

I looked up what you meant with Forge/Fabric and I am assuming I don't have any of that except for OptiFine

You confused Zenith when you said you placed OptiFine in the mods folder, which is usually only done when using a mod loader like Forge or FabricMC. You probably put the installer in the mods folder and then ran it (normally you just run it from wherever you downloaded it to).
