Description of Issue

Steps to Reproduce

1. What do you do... Hey man got this error while trying to start Minecraft 1.8.9 Forge with some mods

2. ...to find this bug? I found out that BetterFoliage 2.0.15 was causing a crash exacly when the main menu popped, when finishing loading

I dropped it inside the mods/1.8.9 folder with the other mods

I used Java 8 202u instead of 8_51, raised the RAM allocation to 4G, and used a costum installation folder, to prevent mess in my .minecraft folder, located in .minecraft/mods/ThaumCraft5

So can you test with a other version of optifine and only the mod causing the crash? Also using normal Java may fixes the bug.
