CIT not loading for items where generated model has been replaced #7335

Description of Issue

CIT does not work for items where generated model has been replaced

Steps to Reproduce

(example)

  1. replace item/generated model with a custom model, which has open 'layer0' variable so all vanilla items still load their textures without further edits
  2. create CIT for items using the new parent model
  3. doesnt work lol

OptiFine Version

at least 1.19-OptiFine_HD_U_H8 through to 1.19.4-OptiFine_HD_U_I3
