Optifine 1.20.1 [Bug/Crash] Forge Version 47.0.35

I´ve tried to add Optifine _(Version 1.20.1_HD_UI5.jar) into my mods folder (I also have the newest Java version installed) with other new mods present and the game will not even launch. I only have the Forge Version 47.0.35 installed on my PC

When I launch the forge version of the game, it kicks me out of Minecraft with the "Exit Code 1" Other people are currently experiencing the same issue (See the comments on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obGVdv4RXng&t=391s )

The only thing that has worked so far is to launch Forge Version 47.0.35 without any mods present besides Optifine itself. It seems that the newest Optifine version is not capable to link with other mods.

The only other mod that I have installed is " vivecraft-1.20.1-0.0.15-hotswitch-a5-forge.jar"

I'm having a similar issue on Java 1.20.1. I have Forge 47.1.37 and Optifine as well as Easy Villagers. The game will load, get stuck loading, then say it's saving the world and close with Exit Code -1.

@TheJohka probably mod incompatibility @lavblood, check if it works with Forge 47.0.35 as that is the recommended Forge version

It says you're using vive craft, try OptiFine without that.

Im having the same issue. What I found is that if I deactivate the mods one at a time, the launcher will return a different mod as the culprit of the crash each time. I also used the Curseforge app to deactivate ALL other mods I had loaded, started the game like that, it still crashes and gives Exit code 1. I tried some of the other methods described on the official minecraft forums page of OptiFine to install it. Using those methods, the game doesnt crash, but OptiFine is not working, either.

I have the same problem while using Optifine with the latest version of Forge and the SimpleVoice Chat mod. Everything seems to be alright when I only use Optifine with Forge or the SimpleVoice Chat mod. Maybe is Optifine incompatible with other mods ?

Does updating OptiFine to one of the new pre versions fix this? (Such as 1.20.1_HD_U_I6_pre6 which is compatible with Forge 47.1.43)

I tried using Forge version 47.1.43 with the newest pre6 version of Optifine. I am still having issues with it crashing. It basically crashes with every mod. As well as updated to Java 8. I am trying to use Optifine for better dogs and game runs great except for when adding any version of Optifine. Not sure what the problem is.
