Description of Issue

If you turn on "Render Regions" in Performances in Video Settings while playing on a Minecraft server with Orebfuscator mod (Anti-Xray), Most of time all blocks arounds you become invisible.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. What do you do...
  2. ...to find this bug?

Answer :

OptiFine Version

Answer : Optifine HD G8 Ultra for Minecraft 1.16.5.

Installation Method

Answer : Optfine JAR for Forge. This issues does also happen on Optifine from standalone installer.

Fabric/Forge Version

Answer : Forge 36.2.39. (This ALSO happen on Optifine from standalone installer).

Other Installed Mods

Answer : The only mods I've installed is "Optifine" (the reason I use Forge but only have Optifine mod because I want to play Forge server).

Log Files/Crash Reports

Answer : None. No crashes occured + New logs file was created many hours ago, not this hour.

F3 Debug Screenshot

Answer : 2023-07-27_19 24 48

Prior Testing

Answer : The only mods installed is Optifine. No other mods that have been installed.

Additional Information

I don't have any information If this also happen on server with other Anti-Xray mod. This is my friend Minecraft SMP server running on Spigot (Paper). Since he installed the Orebfuscator mod to prevent cheaters in the server, When I run to another chunk or walk for a few blocks I don't know exactly, It lags for a little bit for like 0.5 second and most of time chunks (or blocks) around you become invisible as in the F3 debug screenshots. I tried disable each settings related to "render" or "chunk" and seem like this doesn't happen when I disable "Render Regions".

Note that I only found this issues on this Minecraft server with Orebfuscator mod installed not other Anti-Xray mod.

Please provide the exact version of orebfuscator you're using for debugging purposes. A link to their page would be helpful as all I've found is plugins, and not mods.

Oh yea sorry it's a plugin not mod lol. My friend told me the Orebfuscator version is 5.3.0. Here is the link to 5.3.0 : https://github.com/Imprex-Development/Orebfuscator/releases/tag/5.3.0. Edit : I seem like you added a tag "1.20". Don't confuse It 1.16.5 This is the minecraft version that we play.

I assume it would most likely be the same, but does this occur on the newest versions of OptiFine and the anti x-ray mod?
