The readme in .../robotics-prototype/robot contains ros 1 commands and references to an old package called ping_acknowledgment.

[ ] Update instructions to use ros 2 commands
[ ] remove/relocate mentions of ping_acknowledgment package that is meant to allow the user to test their dev environment
