Tbh handheld radios should probably not state where they're coming from.
Its a radio. How cab you determine the origin of the signal down to the device its coming fromm? If people want to be idiots and hunt you down for that then you have all the plausible deniability and lawyer potential in the world.
disagree think its more fun when it does state where they're coming from. if you want like some plausible explanation i feel like you could probably tell which sources are radios/intercoms because they just sound different
This leads to too many people being falsely arrested because the default assumption is that the person has an encryption key they shouldn't have despite intercoms being commonly mapped
thats just shitsec
this seems more than fair, i keep seeing people getting arrested and put in for time because they have a sec coms key but they never did. saying that its coming from a handheld or a intercom would be nice and stop random people being arrested for speaking near a sec officer.
Description
Such as with a handheld radio, the name in chat appears as "handheld radio (name of person)" With intercoms, it shows up as the person's name like they were talking normally rather than "Intercom (name of person)"
This leads to too many people being falsely arrested because the default assumption is that the person has an encryption key they shouldn't have despite intercoms being commonly mapped
