Error on Sheet 10 #18

Hi guys just doing a dry fit and I've noticed that there is a error on part B on DWG 10

one is missing the large slot or part A1 and the other is missing the small hole on the inboard edge for the rib supporting the second part A

There is an omission of holes on all B parts (Sheet 9 and 10) in addition to the above the elongated holes used to position the B verticals and the slide sideways are all but 4 missing.

I just build a scale model and i am having the same problems with missing holes on the B parts. I had to laser some extra parts for under the structure. There are only 15 on the sheets and you need 20. I also needed more wedges. All the other parts are good and the model is very easy to build.

Thanks Irene, I had missed the number of feet. I'm a bit confuesd though as from the length of the tab on the A parts only 15 are required. the 4th would be floating free on 18mm ply.

Also when you say you had to make more wedges was that in addition to the 250 noted or was it that there are not 250 drawn in the plans. I ask as I made mine using a saw and jig (much faster and less waste) rather than using the CNC so made ~280 from memory.

I just had a quick look at the plans and I come to a required total of 270 wedges

Here are my modified sheets 9 and 10 . Note I have also changed the slots for the verticals so that it will align better and made the reliefs 10mm dia so a larger tool can be used

Hi,

In the instruction manual it says you need 20 parts for uner the construction. I need the extra 5 so the growroom can be transported with a transporter carrier. I didn't count the wedges. They were very small because i build a scale model but i had to little of them. I lasert the model on 39 % and used 4 mm wood.

By my calculation the 50 wedges that are pushed in vertically should actually be larger than the 10 to 20mm tapers for the two wedge positions. Something like 20 to 30mm would be more suitable given the relief hole size.
