Access to add Resource in Project

Eric and I are both trying to add Resource to the CHalenge Project. If we click on the Add Resource, it says we do not have access.

Hi Emeline.

The problem was with permissions for resource content types. I have updated the permsissions for the editor role on the production site, and will update the configuration in the codebase so this change to master does not get lost.

It should now work for you.

Hi James, Somehow I still have not gotten adding resources to work. It is still saying not authorized when clicking on Add resources button.

Hi Emeline. There was a further issue, in that the defined external resources (in taxonomy Resources) should have been updated to specify whether they could be associated with Organoizations and/or Projects. This should have been done at the time the update was released into production, but it was omitted. I have now fixed this so it should work for you. Regards, James

Unfortunately, it is still going to the same not authorized to access error. The difference is I can see the sub categories now but if I click to add, it still goes to the same error (for both user "emeline" and the Space Admin). Also, in the description for each sub category - it always has the phrase "nothing here yet" after the description. Could you please take that out for all of the categories?

I also tried to create a resource from the back end under add content. It gets me all the way to the form where I fill it in but when I click on "Publish", this is the error I get.

Just noting that we have one day left to add resource to the page and we are in a workshop all day tomorrow. The alternative is I will not ask ChristchurchNZ to include the link for the Launch on Friday which would really be a pity.

Just in case, I'm attaching here the file of links that need to go up in case someone can get access shortly and just add them. The most important links are the Airbus data sets. They are all for the sub section "Links".

Hi Emeline. Adding resources works fine in my development environment, but not in the dev or live environments. I have been trying to find out what is causing the difference. I will endeavour to get it fixed today/tonight for you. Regards, James

Hi Emeline. I believe that I have fixed the problem now. There was a missing plugin which allowed resource type content entities to be added to a project group. I have re-installed the plugin in both the live and dev environments, and added it to the 312-fixes branch so it will not get lost again. Cheers, James

John I managed to get all the links in now, however we have another big problem - the resources are not visible to non members. Is this an easy fix? Discussion is public and I can see it as an external viewer but resources are not. I will create a new issue.
