Project resources is crying out for UX redesign.

Vague is not a great UX philosophy.

Having a section named Other is enough of a grab bag for things we can't describe or anticipate. But having both Other and Links (which is defined as a building block of an underlying technology, HTML), gives us two sections that could be almost anything at all, and no one could predict what is going to be in either section. I'm not sure why I would click on either one.

We should be intentional, spend the time needed to define sections of the site, and people should know whether or not to click on something.

This is another evolution of what was once a mostly consistent UX in orgs into a less and less consistent one. We had tooltips in orgs, and only against incomplete consensus did we put a single vague section in there, with a descriptive tooltip on mouseover.

I would like to debate this and come up with a mechanism that is much less vague.

Hi Rich,

Im just using what we have in the interest of time two days ago. I can go with what makes sense. Right now i put the links about external articles in Other and put vital information about the Challenge under links. We can re-sort them. I did not have the time to ask dev team to relabel them before Launch.

I get it. Lets keep this issue open and discuss the resources section the next time we review projects for V2.

The label "Other" is just a taxonomy term. It can be changed in a matter of minutes, if there is agreement on what is wanted. The original documentation included an "other" section, so that is what was created.
