Update Developer Docs to work for branch switching and critical dev workflow

Tom, correct me if I'm wrong, but what we talked about is something like this:

Developer docs should work for:

• The basic flow: our first setup, test, commit, push to a feature branch, merge to dev, push, merge to production, push.
• Switching branches, performing development on a new branch, and merging and pushing to a platform environment.
