374 - Affiliated Projects List on Prod #380

The affiliated projects are correctly being listed on the NZ Challenge page. However, if you are in one of the sub teams (e.g. Incubator Team 1 test). It also lists the other teams (e.g. Incubator Team 2) besides the NZ Aerospace Challenge. Ideally this should not be the case, only NZ Aerospace. Is this an easy fix?

Hi Emeline, the affiliated projects aren't sub-projects, they are affiliated project, ie there is no hierarchy. It's not an easy fix because this system was a quick fix to get some related project functionality. Each project is the same, so the layout is the same for each project, regardless of whether it is intended to be a parent project or not. Also, because we were asked to repurpose code from organizations, custom functionality to display a related content block only on the main NZ aerospace challenge in the desired part of the page wasn't possible. The best fix I can think of for this block is to set it so that always shows the "parent" project at the top of the list. Would that help?

Having NZ Challenge on the top certainly works. I’m wondering whether the Title for the section should be changed to "Affiliated Projects”?

I could change the title to that, but I was already asked to change the title to what it currently is, so I fear I may be asked to change it back again. Could you confer with Rich? It currently works by creating the title from the tag that is used to associate the projects, which is this case is call "NZ Aerospace Challenge".
