crash error on placing any buildcraft pipe, seen this error elsewhere on the site, it was ignored at the time. #109

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.mods properly installed
2.select any buildcraft pipe
3.attempt to place

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the expected output is a pipe to be placed on the selected surface

What version are you using?
revision 30, made sure to re-download it, even though i first installed it not 
4 hours earlier

equivalent exchange (the reason i decided to use your mod btw)
sdk guns
mo creatures
renewable resources
tmi
spc
zoombe's modpack
additional pipes (installed last)
risugami's recipiebook
sponges (the one with lava and super sponges)
portalgun
clay soldiers mod

all of these are mods i have installed XD

Please provide any screenshots you feel would help demonstrate this
issue/feature.

This error is purely between BC and AP. To fix install BC on top of AP. It's 
because for some odd reason, there is an old pipe.generic.class included in AP.

yes, this is from an old part of the compatibility patch I forgot to remove (to 
make it backwards compatible with 2.2.2). Sorry!
