No crash, but large lag in SMP when in a chunk adjacent to a chunkloader. #37

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start SMP server.
2. Place Chunkloader.
3. Walk to adjacent chunk.
4. Recieve lag.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect the same lag as anywhere else, but instead there is lag.

What version are you using?
Version 1.8

Please provide your Console/ModLoader output below.

Please provide any additional information below.
I am using several other mods and buildcraft 2.2.2.
Other mods include-
IndustrialCraft2
Most of the IC2 addons.
Redpower2 Pre2b all but world and machine
WirelessRedstone
Minefactory Reloaded

Please provide any screenshots you feel would help demonstrate this
issue/feature.

I do not get this and have been on SMP quite a bit. Maybe there is another

I experience this to. But one noticable effect of making the lag less intense
was to install the Java SDK.
So to reproduce the error, try a machine without Java SDK, and only the
essential runtime.
I can't quite put a finger on if this is Additional Pipes, or Buildcraft itself.

As I have not been able to keep up during my busy weeks, I am closing all
tickets. If your problem still persists in the version I am posting today,
please create a new ticket and sorry for the inconvenience, and I will attempt
to fix all known bugs this week.
