Crash w/ "Java Runtime Error: uknown character"

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Fresh copy of MC
2.Buildcraft 2.2.2 (All packages)
3.Industrial Craft 2 (Audio mod and crash fixer as well)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The pipes

What version are you using?
version 19

Please provide your Console/ModLoader output below.
MC just crashes w/o loading even with GetError.bat provided by IC2

Please provide any additional information below.

Please provide any screenshots you feel would help demonstrate this
issue/feature.

As I have not been able to keep up during my busy weeks, I am closing all 
tickets. If your problem still persists in the version I am posting today, 
please create a new ticket and sorry for the inconvenience, and I will attempt
