chunk loading block not in config file #94

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.install with elorams redpower 2 (newest version)
2.block id 254 taken up by both
3.cannot be changed without crashing game in redpower 2
4. not in config file for advanced pipes

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version are you using?
newest

Please provide your Console/ModLoader output below.

basically says that block id is already in use.
Please provide any additional information below.

would be fixed by adding block to config file.
Please provide any screenshots you feel would help demonstrate this
issue/feature.

On mine it says the Chunk loader block has the same block ID as the Mining
Well. Really really strange since I don't recall BuildCraft changing the Mining
Well block ID ಠ_ಠ

@fred Are you given the same id (254) in the error message? That id is
definitely associated with one of redpower's blocks. On my computer the mining
well's id is 150 (maybe redpower changed it)

What should I put in this section of the config for the chunkloader?

#########
# Block #
#########

block {
}

@ amez
That is the problem. The block is not there where it is supposed to be
(it should say something like chunkLoader = 254;(this is probably incorrect
notation, I did not look at a config file while writing this message)) but it
does not.

As I have not been able to keep up during my busy weeks, I am closing all
tickets. If your problem still persists in the version I am posting today,
please create a new ticket and sorry for the inconvenience, and I will attempt
to fix all known bugs this week.
