I tried your first patch on my dedicated multiplayer server. With speeds faster than x4 the lift gets bouncy and you get either fall damage or damage if you try to walk through bounce.
Maybe we should limit the speed to 4 through the UI, but allow higher speed through your wire input you are working on. Empty lifts could be allowed to move faster than when a player is standing on it.
