Ground Hardware can't TX on 144.2 MHz #1

Open SpaceShawn opened 8 years ago

SpaceShawn commented 8 years ago

Transmitting on 144.2 MHz from the ICOM can not be received by the Kenwood or the Helium100.

Transmitting on 431.0 MHz can be received by the Kenwood, but not the Helium100 since it can only listen on 144.2 MHz

The Kenwood resets every time you try to transmit now.

Working

Source TX RX
Kenwood 431
ICOM 431
He100 431

See the wiki for specific configuration

The Kenwood resetting problem can be fixed by unplugging the power cable and running only on battery power.

Proven TX/RX capabilities summary

Source TX RX
Kenwood 144.2, 431 431
ICOM 431 144.2, 431
He100 431 144.2
