Steps to reproduce

Enable audible notifications (group unread feeds) in system notification settings for app
Set feed or feeds to notify when new articles are available.
Leave notifications in the android pull down menu
Be annoyed

Expected behaviour

I'd like feeder to notify me once when a new article/entry is available. I don't want to be notified more then once for a specific article/entry even when it's unread.

Current behaviour

I receive random notifications all the time while using the app, sometimes like 6 notifications in a row. It may correlate with the refresh cycle of the feeds.

P.S. This is more of a request for improvement

This does indeed sound annoying.

But it's also why I intentionally made Feeder's norifications silent. You seem to be overriding that?

Yes I do make them audible , as described above (This is a standard feature of android A.F.A.I.K. I intently enabled them as I'd like to receive audible notifications when there is a new article/entry is available in select feeds.

This functionality is for example be useful when keeping up to date with software updates for various pieces of software, particularity when you like to be notified about security updates that needs to be installed in a timely manner.

Today, Feeder is not designed to have sounds in notifications
