Regulator outputs don't usually like being connected in parallel. Irregularities causes imbalances that result in the regulators playing "tug of war" between each other.

Need to devise a simple solution or rethink BQ25570 scheme

Another option is to see how it behaves with separate output diodes. We'd need to bump up the VOUT voltage to accommodate the voltage drop from the diode, but that shouldn't be an issue.
