It's actually working on my Motorola Atrix 4G, but it's a bit tricky (and
weird). Follow these steps, and if it doesn't work exactly as listed try to
combine the steps in different orders :
(I do this for every new rule, you'll get used to it after a while ;) )
- open droidwall, disable firewall
- select your new rules, click save rules
- try to enable firewall, let it popup the error message, click save rules again
- go back to your home screen, add droidwall widget
- click once on the widget, and wait about 15seconds
if it's still not working :
- go back to the droidwall app, click save rules (it usually works all the time
there with a message "firewall enabled")
- if it still doesn't work, try again to enable through the widget.
Droidwall is in my opinion a great app I trust. Since I'm having this issue I
keep looking around for answers and I mostly realized that the team, or
programmer, behind this tool is overwhelmed by android/hardware fragmentation.
I guess we'll have to deal ourselves with the upcoming issues ;)
Good work anyway!

I enabled non market apps and loaded droidwall 1.5.0 on my atrix 4g (rooted
with gingerbreak) and it seemed to work, the logs did not, (seg fault type
error). I then removed 1.5.0 and loaded 1.5.1 again and it seems to work now.
however the log is always empty and show rules contains errors like "Fatal:
could not load /lib/modules/2.6.32.9-00007-g527fe10/modules.dep: no such file
or directory"
Let me know if there is anything I can do to help (including beta testing ;-)
