We have a few different places for documentation at the moment: the jwst github page (listing tags, change logs, etc), readthedocs (giving technical package documentation), and JDox (giving user-focused overviews). JDox currently links out to github and readthedocs as necessary, but those sites don't link back to JDox with a 'Start Here' memo.
Issue JP-3691 was created on JIRA by David Law:
We have a few different places for documentation at the moment: the jwst github page (listing tags, change logs, etc), readthedocs (giving technical package documentation), and JDox (giving user-focused overviews). JDox currently links out to github and readthedocs as necessary, but those sites don't link back to JDox with a 'Start Here' memo.
It would be helpful to complete this circle by adding links to the github overview and the readthedocs landing page giving the locations of the JDox main pipeline main page ([https://jwst-docs.stsci.edu/jwst-science-calibration-pipeline)] and the latest build information page ([https://jwst-docs.stsci.edu/jwst-science-calibration-pipeline/jwst-operations-pipeline-build-information])
