Cannot Invite the Bot #3

Due to the bot not being verified, I cannot invite it to any discord servers.

Hey @FenixVale! I am aware of this issue. I got a message from Discord three days ago saying that the bot had been added to 75 servers and would need to be verified to go above 100. I spent the last few days putting the documentation together and sent off the verification request yesterday afternoon. So, unfortunately, until the bot is verified by Discord, you won't be able to add the bot to any additional servers.

I'm so glad to hear you want to use the bot and wish you could do so, but unfortunately what Discord says goes (and for good reason in this case, as I'm sure none of us want untrusted bots having free rein).

I will update this issue when I hear back from Discord.

Hey @spalmurray Can you reply to this thread once it's approved? I have a decently sized server and we would love to use this bot!

@weihs5 Oh no! I just tried it myself and had the same experience. I will look into this and report back when I have more info.

@weihs5 It turns out that desipte the bot being verified, it needs to get approved for a couple things called privileged intents before it can be added to more servers. I submitted the application for these last week. I will send an update here once I hear back from Discord on this.

Discord got back to me late last week and we've been discussing the requirements for getting the verifications the bot needs.

As of now, I am in the process of making some changes to the app that Discord is requesting. I hope to have the changes done this weekend and be reporting back to the Discord people on Monday. The end is in sight! :)

Hey @LavelleUp! Thanks for checking in.

I still have work to be done to get the app into a state acceptable by Discord. Unfortunately, I've been busy with school over the last few weeks and haven't had a ton of time to commit here. I'm submitting my last assignment for school tomorrow afternoon and this project is my first priority after that!

I will update this thread with any notable developments. :)

Hello all!

The changes to the bot required by Discord have been made!

The bot now has a data expiry cliff of 30 days from the last submitted score. The bot will DM a user if they are nearing the 30 day mark and will also notify them once they have passed 30 days and their data has been deleted.

Do not worry if it has been 30 days since you last submitted a score, today is day 0 for everyone in the database, so you've got 30 days from today to submit a score before your data is deleted.

The bot has been approved for all the permissions it needs!

You can now invite the bot to your servers.
