At present, the regular logging (that is, not the query logging associated with -l) of rbldnsd is hardwired to go into the LOG_KERN facility, preventing user assignment to a different facility. The high reload rate of modern configurations often make it desirable to separate rbldnsd logging to an independent stream.
A new command line option should be added to allow the user to indicate a log facility.
