We'll obviously go over what people have done for OA week, but I think it would also be nice to have a call on DEI in Open Access to complement that? Maybe invite some guest speakers to speak and prompt community members to reflect on diversity and inclusion in the OA movement?

Would be curious to hear your thoughts, @JosephMcArthur, @nshockey - this is also looking at the list of potential DEI folks we want to invite to OpenCon, but probably can't. Would like to introduce them to the community in other ways.

OK, chatted with @JosephMcArthur and moving DEI to another month so we can focus on "Open in Order To" theme as it will fall during OA week. Plan on inviting speakers for a few key themes that we've highlighted during this week (just waiting to hear back from them now - but open to other speaker suggestions!) We'll also have a recap of OA week activities and campaigns that folks are working on.
