Clean and release open data and code

Deadline somewhat flexible, but let's get this done before the end of the year!

Which naming convention should be used here? Some options:

• For historical continuity: opencon-2017-app-data + opencon-2017-app-code
• Simpler (and consistent with Connect OER naming): opencon-2017-data, opencon-2017-code (seems nicer, we can also optionally rename old repos to use this naming scheme)

Please keep consistent with what is in the repo now opencon-{year}-app-{code/data}. I ultimately settled on this convention when we migrated since we have other bits of code and data floating around, and want to keep the app information clear.

OK, will do. For the record, changing GitHub repository names is safe - links are automatically redirected, even command line tools keep working.

Hi @txtbks and @jangondol - I'm working on the DEI report this week. Is the cleaned and processed data stored somewhere? I can't seem to find it. Thanks!

@txtbks - would it be possible to have the data formatted as you did for the DEI report in the summer? It was anonymized and coded by column. @nshockey would like me to write the DEI update before the end of December (before I leave) so it would be good to get the data cleaned and formatted similar to last year sooner rather than later!

I am back from Nepal on Friday and will try to do it over the weekend. If not can definitely get it fine by next Friday. Also do you need the application data? That is not cleaned for release yet, and probably won't be until week of Dec 18, but I can send you the raw file if needed.
