brew link reports that it doesn't do anything in this scenario
wget is not installed by default on Macs, so install it with homebrew just in case

Thanks for submitting this!

I believe the current versions of the installation tutorial obviates the need for wget, but if you feel they're still deficient, I'd love to review a resubmission!
