Dropdown list : distinguish between the label to display in the dropdown list vs. the label to use once the value is selected #666

It is odd to see e.g. "Italy (1091)" in the selected value. We need to distinguish the 2 labels. The selected label can remain equal to the dropdown label if not provided.
