Allow user to set a short password #25

Suggested by milind:

One of the problems I have with password managers is that I want to
use a long password to ensure that nobody can easily crack it. But
it's a pain to have to keep entering a long password every time I want
to look up one value - especially on a mobile device.

gbaSafe seems to have a very nice compromise. A long master password
and short lookup password. There is a good description of this at
http://www.gbizapps.com/gbasafe.htm.

There seem to be serious problems with gdaSafe's approach:

Thanks for the pointers Tioerre. I was not planning to implement "short
passwords" for
the very reasons explained in the posts you mentioned. I close this issue.
