Bone Group Editing #459

Open btrnew opened 5 years ago

Is there a way to edit/add things to entire bone groups after you have already created them?

One example would be adding taphonomy to the entire bone group after creating it or saying that this entire foot is a pair match to that entire foot. Currently, if I want to say that a foot pair matches with another foot (both created through the bone grouping mechanism) I have to go into each element individually and add the pair match.

Related to this would be adding an individual number to an entire bone group.

A lot of people at Offutt have been making the same comment about bone groups and associations. This comes up a lot when dealing with articulations, especially with dentition. It would greatly decrease the amount of time and clicks it takes to articulate dentition to the maxilla(e)/mandible if you could identify the articulating bone when the group is generated.

Could the bone group become an editable field as well on the specimen level page in case elements need to be removed from a group they were entered in as? Or another element becomes associated to an entered bone group later on during segregation?
