This comment pointed to a replicated website that still had my information embedded in the code, like . Resolved within days after direct communication with website owner:

Hi [website owner]! Congrats on launching your Hugo Apéro site!

I just learned that you adapted my personal website because the comment feature on your site is still linked to my GitHub repository (see spcanelon/silvia#81).

I'm flattered that you were inspired by my site! However, I designed it for me and to reflect my personal style, so I'd like to ask you to please make some changes:

  1. Thoroughly remove from the code any remaining information about me (searching your code for my username would be a good place to start)
  2. Make some styling changes that can reflect a style that's unique to you. The Hugo Apéro docs have great tutorials on customizing your site colors and typography. Here is a direct link https://hugo-apero-docs.netlify.app/learn/

Although, I think it might be harder to make changes to my original code than it would be to create your own original site. The Hugo Apéro docs have great tutorials for that too! https://hugo-apero-docs.netlify.app/start/

Thanks! And let me know if you have any questions.
