Feature Request #707

Hi SPCK developers, I really like your app and have been using it for a long time. However, I experienced problems when using it on Android 12. Previously I used Android 10 and it was still fine, but when I used Android 12 a problem appeared that might be caused by the new Android security policy. Namely SPCK cannot be used in conjunction with other applications, for example KSWEB (to create a local server based on PHP + MySQL). For this reason, I suggest the following things:

  1. Do not use private folders to store and access projects that are created to be accessible by all applications, including file managers.
  2. Add features like FTP/SFTP, to make it easier for us to access and edit files that come from outside our project
  3. Allow SPCK to also be used as a Code Editing or Text Editing Application, aka Can Access and Edit Code from files that are outside our project files.

That's all I can say and I hope you respond well. Sorry if my English is not good, because I only use Google Translator :)

I opened an issue on this last year: https://github.com/spckio/spck-issues/issues/656#issue-1931831963

On Android 10. I could access the Android data folder which could reach to the path where the app stores the files we write. Then fire it up with termux terminal, so I could change contents from the terminal, write NodeJs on spck, but run it on the terminal.

Now on an Android 13, I have left it up for frontend development. And used another editor that could actually find, or have me make a directory, for my code, anywhere.

I hope they add it.

*Your English is great.

Finally just landed with front end development that's pretty great !! i found a most clean code interface which supported students like many, but my concern is that why dont u guys , put an idea of providing languages like C++ andJava to run and progress like VS Code, or linking with terminal like ssh -clients ..
