I’m currently working with FPI DIS data and need to do some calculations with the ion energy distributions. I know you are able to subtract the bulk velocity from the energy distribution before calculating it, but I was wondering if there was something in spedas to be able to generate a distribution function to then work with.

I think that we have options for subtracting bulk velocity for slices. It also looks like there is an option for subtracting bulk velocity from FPI pitch angle distributions, see /spedas/projects/mms/particles/moka/moka_mms_pad_fpi_crib.pro

I don't see anything regarding 3d distributions, though.
