From Arthur Hull at AGU: He uses wav_data to use a particular wavelet to do wave polarization analysis (not twavpol, which uses FFTs). But there is little or no documentation for it in SPEDAS, and this caused some issues while trying to resolve some referee comments on a paper he was submitting. Hopefully he will be following up in email with more specifics. He would also like to use that same wavelet in PySPEDAS, which would help migrating his workflows over to Python.
