We don't seem to have support for this in tplot -- the way it's done in routines like mms_fpi_ang_ang.pro is to call the IDL contours() routine directly, and overplot the resulting contours on the plot. Perhaps we can implement some tplot options and support for them in the specplot or xyzplot routines.
