Redmine Time logger plugin. More than likely there is only going to be one more public release. New version has new time logging with the option of multiple loggers running at the same time, fixes for excessive loggng, and a whole new look.

Feature wish: multiple pending loggers with option to "switch" ticket #36
Would be awesome if you could also add a "switch" action to the logger.
The possibility to have multiple pending loggers open, with only one active at a time, would be great! One could easily switch to different tickets throughout the day, and only log the total times for all tickets worked on at the end of the day:
Starting the logger on a new ticket would pause the currently active logger (if any).
Overview page would have an option to switch to one of the pending loggers, making that one active.
Overview page would include a Stop action for all pending loggers that opens the default time logging page for the ticket as usual.
