See https://github.com/jwillemsen/daikin_residential_altherma/pull/33 for a draft PR for my forked version of the Daikin HA integration
Glad to see you're already aware! Will the add-on get a update in HACS? Or do you make a new one? (or maybe even a native HA addon)
@Ivo-tje I am maintaining my own fork now, I have a PR to add it to HACS, but that is still in the queue.
The master
branch of https://github.com/jwillemsen/daikin_residential_altherma has now support for the new Daikin Cloud setup using OAuth2. This is experimental and work in progress, but first user feedback is positive, users report that they can connect and see their devices with the new Cloud setup in HA
Made a PR to have an important readme, see https://github.com/speleolontra/daikin_residential_altherma/pull/228
I have released a v4.0.0 pre release of the daikin_onecta integration, see https://github.com/jwillemsen/daikin_onecta/releases/tag/v4.0.0
@speleolontra I would like to propose that you archive this repo as there are so far as I know are no plans to update this integration to support the new daikin cloud API. If you agree, could you archive this repo in the settings?
Hi @jwillemsen I've no time to implement sorry. Happy for your contribution. I proceed with archive.
Thanks for all your hard work on this integration!
The intergration no longer does it I think this has to do with the api is there a solution to this already? I have also already been busy with your new intergration signed up with daikin developer for The OAuth Client ID and OAuth Client Secret and I have them but when I then go to ha I get everything nicely in there and to confirm I am linked to daikin site and there it goes wrong something seems to go wrong it then says
See https://github.com/jwillemsen/daikin_onecta/issues/41 @Homeassistjoenka, part of the users have problems with the id/secret, several ideas there to try
This integration stopped working for me this morning. I have updated HA to 2024.3.3 and migrated over to https://github.com/jwillemsen/daikin_onecta It works fine with Altherma 3M with BRP069A78. Many thanks to @jwillemsen for making that integration.
See https://github.com/rospogrigio/daikin_residential/issues/182#issuecomment-1933967548 and https://developer.cloud.daikineurope.com/login, Daikin is intentionally breaking all existing integrations including this one. They only give a month to rework the code
