JLCPCB doesn't accept the PCB design #60

Hi Spencer,

I'm a Spanish student who's building the V2 detector for a school project. The issue I'm having is that, once I sent the PCB files to JLCPCB, they didn't approve the design for the following reason: The width of the connection tabs (or the slots spacing) is too small which will cause board breaking off very easily.Please kindly increase it to 4mm at least.

They also included a PNG picture, which I'm attaching here too with a preview of the design: 01

I'd appreciate so much your assistance because I have no idea of what to do.

Hi Samuel,

The design is made such that they are suppose to break off. I think you should be able to mention this to JLCPCB, and they shouldn’t have a problem with it. I typically use Elecrow.com to print the PCBs.

Maybe a bit off-topic but I can also recommend @AislerHQ, for quick and cheap PCB prototypes. They deliver from Europe which is way faster and they turned out to be of a much higher quality as well for me. Just my humble opinion. They are not as cheap as JLCPCB though.
