Batch edit means editing the contacts in batches. It is quite straightforward that 1 batch can consist of 1 to maximum number of contacts.
If and only if there is a constraint, e.g. only 2 contacts can be edited at the same time using the command, the disclaimer will be needed.

Reason for disagreement: The team's response is invalid because at no point in the UG did they mention "If and only if there is a constraint, e.g. only 2 contacts can be edited at the same time using the command, the disclaimer will be needed.".
Regarding AB3 UG, it is explicitly mentioned whenever a parameter can be declared multiple times. We can see that the team's UG attempted to do something similar but did not explicitly declare that for the edit -batch command.
From AB3 UG:
From team's UG. Observe that the team declared "..." for tags but not for the index of the command.

It is not clear whether more than 2 indexes can be declared when using the "edit -batch" command.
EXAMPLE section displayed 3 indexes declared in command but FORMAT section displayed only 2 indexes
