keyboard layout mixed up on Raspi #3320

Installed 3.0.2 on raspi3. Electrum starts OK but keyboard is all mixed up and unusable. Downgraded back to 2.9.3 OK. Any ideas?

is that with the kivy GUI?

using OpenBox via VNCserver. Keyboard mappings work fine with all other programs...

I had the same problem using electrum 3.0.6-1~bpo9+1 via tightvncserver 1.3.9-9. It is apparently caused by an interaction between QT5 and VNC: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=814959 (No, not using kivy, that didn't work with the package in backports.)
