I am attempting to recover an old electrum wallet that is on a poorly functioning old laptop. I have inputted my seed phrase but Electrum is not recognizing my email address it says. although I do not think i used an email address to set it up.

tried deleting a wallet. now none of my wallets are showing one has alot od money in so im very concerned
I created new wallet named TEST and then deleted default_wallet. After this operation Electrum started with creator of new wallet, so I used my seed of TEST. Then I deleted TEST wallet and there is no wallet in the Electrum. Why I cannot change the name of wallet (file name)? I don't want use the name default_wallet in the Electrum, but my own name of wallet. Thanks for the change the app as soon as possible. You should also check pixel perfect of UI. i haved 2 wallets.
enter to N1 wallet and delete them.

deleted, now empty wallet. it said deleted stayed open, i hit the wallet name at the top in the middle bit to switxh wallets and then boom
also file browsing possible in other walket opening way. thanks

I deleted an empty wallet. I clicked on wallet to choose another wallet, and got an empty screen. I clicked the 'back' button, and got the error message.
deleted watching only wallet first, after that deleted normal wallet, it remained on screen and pressed wallet name to try to delete it again
I import wallet by privkey and then tried to remove it. Sorry for my english btw
