Fatal Error Triggered - Install Attempt on WordPress v3.04 #1

When I attempted to activate this plugin on my wordpress blog I received the following error message:

"Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error. Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /home/content/j/u/l/julioterra/html/journal/wp-content/plugins/github-code-viewer-2/GitHub_Code_Viewer.php on line 14"

What version of PHP are you running?
