Additional suggestions:

Currently, the item's icon can be set from the menu. Suggest including it in the Properties window (click on the icon in the window)
The name "PanelPropertiesWindow.vala" sourcefile seems a bit outdated, looking at the current contents :). Suggest something like: DesktopFolderDialogs.vala.
